Sender profile
The identity a message appears to come from.
A sender profile is the persona behind outgoing messages. It is not the same thing as a MailMoo user, and it is worth keeping the distinction clear.
A sender profile brings together:
- A name, which is who the recipient sees.
- A connected account. The mailbox or social account messages are actually sent through.
- A voice, optionally cloned, used when generating personalized audio and video.
- Context used when drafting on that persona's behalf.
Why it is separate from a user
The person who builds a campaign is often not the person it should appear to come from. Separating the two means one operator can run outbound on behalf of several people, and a persona survives the operator changing.
Assignment to campaigns
Sender profiles are assigned to a campaign, and each lead in that campaign is allotted one. That allotment is stable: a lead keeps the same sender across the whole sequence, so a follow-up comes from whoever sent the opener.

Connected accounts
The connection itself is made in settings, and one connected account backs one sender profile. Disconnecting it stops that profile from sending; the profile and its history remain.
